Dr Pooja Sikka is a practising GP, having trained in South London, where she continues to see patients in Lambeth. She has contributed to health policy and implementation at a national and local level, with a particular focus on integrated models of care, population health, and the adoption of health technology and diagnostics into everyday NHS practice.

She is a Partner at Meridian Health Ventures, which invests in technologies that reach patients through the NHS, where she leads a Wellcome Trust anchored Mental Health Fund. She is also a Venture Partner at Crossborder Impact Ventures, a global impact fund focused on women's and children's health. Across both roles, she brings over a decade of experience supporting the investment, commercialisation and scaling of innovation and technology into the UK healthcare system.

Earlier in her career, Pooja was a consultant in healthcare at EY, working with NHS Trusts, primary care providers, and commissioners, and was part of the founding team of EY Ventures. In parallel, she launched healthcare operational businesses, including The Dental Suite in the UK and StepCare in India.
