The Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals provides a Community Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) service across North Central London, delivering care within local community settings. The service operates community clinics in Enfield (Lincoln Road) and Haringey (West Green), alongside a dedicated outreach service at Edgware, enabling patients to access specialist ENT advice, assessment, and treatment for minor ENT conditions closer to home, without the need to attend an acute hospital clinic.
The service is currently undergoing significant transformation, working collaboratively with North Central London Integrated Care System partners to ensure equitable access, consistency, and high-quality care for all patients across the sector.
Referrals are made by GPs via the NHS e‑Referral Service (eRS).

All patients will need to be referred by their GP through the NHS e-Referral System (e-RS) to be triaged for straight to a face-to-face clinic appointment at our community locations in Enfield, Haringey and Edgware.

What if I need an operation?
If your condition requires an operation or further specialist management, you have the right to make a choice about your NHS provider. The ENT specialist will discuss this with you at your appointment and you will be referred to the NHS hospital of your choice. There are a number of local providers and more information can be found on NHS Choices. On the other hand, our Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals offers a comprehensive specialist ENT surgical service in central London, and you could be put directly onto the waiting list.
Patient aftercare is dependent on nature of the condition. Some patients will be suitable to be managed in the community by their GP, some will require ongoing hospital visits, and some will be discharged after treatment.
