The Gastrointestinal Physiology Unit provides a variety of diagnostic tests, treatments and consultations to treat patients with gut-related symptoms.
As disorders of the gut function are often multifactorial and complex, we adopt a multidisciplinary approach with a wide range of specialist clinicians to provide high-quality tertiary care.
If you are awaiting test results you may be able to access them via the MyCare patient portal.

Notice:
The Gastrointestinal Physiology Unit is currently not accepting referrals from outside of the North Central London region, except for oesophageal-related neurogastro pathology, consideration of SNS and patients referred in from other UCLH specialities. This is due to our long waiting time for outpatient reviews.
In order for us to provide a high-quality service to our local area it is important that we focus on the backlog and deal with increased local demand. Once the service is in better shape, we will be in a position to start taking external referrals again and will notify teams who have frequently referred to us in the past that we are back open.
