Our patients are referred to us from throughout the United Kingdom and we are one of the largest andrology units in Europe. Led by five consultant andrologists with additional in reach consultants from networks throughout South East England. We treat andrology conditions including Peyronie's disease, priapism, erectile dysfunction (including insertion of penile prostheses), and reconstructive procedures for genital conditions and male factor infertility. Our unit is also the supraregional centre for penile and testicular cancer.

GP referrals
Please ensure that you have completed all the steps on the Primary Care pathway relating to the patients’ condition, as we are unable to accept your referral unless the relevant work-up has been completed in primary care. Please enclose recent investigations and details of medications trialled, including dosage.
For minor penoscrotal referrals, please only refer patients who are willing to consider surgical treatment for their condition, as conservative management can be completed in the community. Please ensure that your patient meets the EBICS criteria prior to referral.
For fertility referrals, please ensure your patient meets the NHS eligibility criteria before referring.
Please only refer patients if you are able to continue the prescribing of medication recommended by UCLH, as we are unable to continue to prescribe for patients after the initial prescription.

Any ACS for the purpose of assisting a person to carry a child (including all consultations, hospital encounters, diagnoses and treatments) will be charged. If you are unsure if you are eligible or if you wish to discuss this further, please contact the UCLH Overseas and Eligibility Team who can confirm a patient’s eligibility and costs.
