Professional background
Mrs Dalal Sabban is a consultant ENT surgeon with specialist expertise in otology, hearing restoration and auditory implantation. She completed her higher surgical training in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery in Paris, training across several leading tertiary centres including Hôpital Necker Enfants Malades, Hôpital Rothschild and Hôpital Bicêtre, where she developed extensive experience in complex ear surgery, hearing restoration and cochlear implantation in both adults and children.
She subsequently undertook fellowship training in Advanced Otology and Auditory Implant Surgery at the Royal National ENT Hospital, University College London Hospitals (UCLH). Following completion of her fellowship training, she continued working at the Royal National ENT Hospital as a Consultant ENT Surgeon, with a high-volume clinical and surgical practice in advanced otology, paediatric ENT and auditory implants.
Mrs Sabban has a specialist interest in hearing restoration surgery, chronic ear disease and auditory implants, including cochlear implants and bone conduction hearing devices. She is experienced in managing complex ear and hearing conditions in both adults and children, including cholesteatoma, chronic otitis media, conductive and sensorineural hearing loss, balance disorders and complex hearing rehabilitation. Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively involved in teaching, research and service development.
