Professional background
Professor Anthony David trained in neurology in Glasgow before switching to psychiatry at the Maudsley-Institute of Psychiatry, London.
He trained and worked there as a clinical academic, receiving a personal chair in 1996, until 2018 when he then joined UCL. Since then, his clinical role has been as an honorary consultant in neuropsychiatry at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square.
